On a trip to the land of Kashmir and Ladakh, the sights are something out of this world and the journey is always worth it. And we start from Srinagar with a sightseeing to the gorgeous Mughal Gardens that brag timeless beauty. The Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh are both some of the largest Mughal Gardens in Kashmir Valley, built on the bank of Dal Lake with Shalimar being the largest in India. The Chashme Shahi is known for the spring it was built around. We’ll visit Asia’s largest tulip garden, Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden. The Shankaracharya Temple on Gopadari Hill is a gorgeous temple of Kashmir time, built in 371 BC by Raja Gopadatya. The sacred Hazratbal Shrine on the left side of the Dal Lake is also not to be missed. Then head to Gulmarg which is a 1.5km ride via the Gondola. The Maharani Temple is an early 20th century structure built by the wife of Maharaja Hari Singh and riding the pony to visit this place can be fun. The St. Mary’s Church that’s over 110 years old is a gorgeous chapel that you can visit before the gondola reaches the top at 3,700m height for a view of the Afarwat Peak and the valley. Then head to Kargil with a visit to the village of Sonamarg that’s known as the “Meadow of Gold” as we cross over the Sindh Valley. On our way back to Leh, we’ll stop at Mulbekh Monastery that’s known to be a merge of two gompas in the Zanskar region. The Lamayuru Monastery at 11520ft features an amazing view of the region that is one of the largest monasteries that houses 150 monks. The Alchi Monastery is an ancient Buddhist shrine built in the 1000 AD by Rinchen Zangpo followed by the Likir Monastery in the village of Saspol. Enjoy the view of the Confluence of the Indus and Zanskar River before we pay our respect at Gurudwara Patthar Sahib. Drive through the Magnetic Hill to reach the Hall of Fame where soldiers who died at the Indo-Pak wars are remembered. Then we head to Nubra Valley via Khardung La that’s known as the highest motorable road and enjoy a full-day excursion Turtuk which is a village on the Pakistan border. From Nubra Valley, we’ll drive for a few hours through a series of unique geographical sites including the Agham & Shyok Valley up to Pangong Lake before stopping at Hunder Village. The Diskit Monastery on the way back is a 14th century building that houses a 100-foot Maitreya Buddha statue and a perfect stop to enjoy the view of Nubra Valley. From Pangong Lake, we make our way back to Leh and stop at Hemis Gompa to explore the monastery that was built in the 1600s and the artifacts and old paintings that are still kept there.

Hotels may not have free Wi-Fi services available, and if they do, the service may be limited and at low speeds, sometimes available only in the lobby.
Hotels may not have free heater services available. Heaters may be arranged from the hotel at additional charges on direct payment basis, varying from Rs 400 - Rs 1000, as per hotel charges and availability. Also, some hotels may not have 24x7 running hot water, it may be available for certain hours of the day only.
Vehicle as mentioned in the booking will be provided. Extra charges will be applicable if additional vehicle or upgraded vehicle is required due to travellers carrying extra or oversized luggage.

All Gardens’ entrance fee starts from Rs 20 To 70 per pax per garden (to be paid directly by the guest on his visit).
Shikara ride can accommodate a maximum of 04 pax per boat.

Cameras & Mobiles are not allowed inside most Temples, it is advisable not to carry the same during temple visit

Vehicles in Hill Areas – Even if you opt for AC vehicle, in hill stations AC is non-operational to avoid damage or mid-trip break down of the vehicle for your own convenience. Also, in several hill areas, commercial vehicles are not allowed to play music to prevent accidents
In case of road blocks, the vehicle may need to take an alternate route to get you to your destination. This will be subject to additional charges as applicable and payable directly on ground.

As Leh is the base town for all connecting towns in Ladakh, there is a possibility that a few sightseeing will be mentioned multiple times in the itinerary, it is up to the customer if he wishes to see the same again, time permitting. However no refund will be provided in case the same has not been covered the second time, as no additional amount is being charged for the same.
It is advisable to get a health check- up done prior to travel to Ladakh, as well as carry appropriate & required medicine as advised. At the time of booking, it will be assumed that the suggested health check up has been done/ will be done by the customer prior to travel.
Please note after booking, no changes in the itinerary will be possible.
At the time of check-in to your hotel, hotel may ask you to make an advance/security deposit (amount depends upon hotel policy). This amount is refunded at the time of check-out, minus the cost of any items taken from the mini-bar or other charges (like late check-out or any damages done to the accommodation).
Any ticket to attractions, museums, train, cable car, ferries, rides, safari, etc. are not included unless explicitly mentioned as an inclusion.

If your stay falls on special dates (like 24th December, 31st December, 14th February, etc.) when hotel organize gala dinner, then there may be mandatory Gala Dinner Charges additional that you need to pay at the hotel directly.

Our Scope of Services
We act solely as holiday organizers. We inspect and select the services to be provided to you. However, we do not own, operate or control any airline, shipping company, coach or coach company, hotel, transport, restaurant, kitchen caravan or any other facility or provider etc. that is engaged to provide you services during the course of your tour. Therefore, please carefully note that:
You are required to follow the terms, conditions, and rules of each service provider. This includes, for example, airline baggage policies and hotel meal timings. Any consequences arising from non-compliance will be at your own risk.
If you cause any injury or damage to a service provider, you may be held liable, and any amounts recovered from us in this regard will be charged to you accordingly. Accordingly, we shall not be liable for any delay, deficiency, injury, death, loss or damage etc. occasioned due to act or default of such service providers, their employees or agents.
We reserves the right to modify the itinerary at any point, due to reasons including but not limited to: Force Majeure events, strikes, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, overbooking of hotels / flights, cancellation / re-routing of flights, closure of / entry restrictions at a place of visit, etc. While we will do our best to make suitable alternate arrangements, we would not be held liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising out of this.
Hotel and Land Cancellation Policy
Cancellation & Refunds: Hotel cancellations are subject to the respective hotel’s policy. Non-refundable bookings are not eligible for any refund. No refund shall be provided for unused nights (including early check-out) or any unutilized services (meals, transfers, sightseeing, entrance fees, etc.) for any reason whatsoever. In case of medical conditions, any exception will be subject to the hotel’s discretion.
Transfers, Activities & Tickets: Transfers and activities included in the itinerary are non-refundable if cancelled within 3 days of the travel start date, unless otherwise specified at the quotation stage in the “Points to Note” section, where applicable. Certain services may have separate cancellation policies, which must be adhered to accordingly. Entrance tickets are non-refundable once booked, unless specified otherwise.
Service Charges: A service charge of 5% of the total booking value will be applicable for cancellations of land services (including activities and transfers), as well as for any amendments.
Hotel Policies & Timings: Check-in and check-out timings are as per hotel policies. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may incur additional charges payable directly at the hotel.

You can pay using credit cards, debit cards, net banking, PayPal, NEFT, IMPS, RTGS or SWIFT.
For your safety, we will never request payments to be made to a personal account. Please ensure all payments are made only through our official website or to our company’s bank account. If you receive any such request, we recommend verifying it with our team before proceeding.
Amendment of Booking by Guest
If you wish to amend or change your booking, you must submit your request in writing to your travel expert or email us at escalations@tripfactory.com
All such requests will be accepted subject to availability. Please note that any amendment or change will be treated as a new booking. If the amendment is made within the cancellation period, cancellation charges will apply as per the date the amendment request is submitted. Applicable cancellation charges will be in accordance with airline and hotel policies.
